How to Get There

Traveling to the captivating town of Malia is a journey filled with excitement and anticipation. Situated along the northern coast of Crete in the Heraklion region, only 37 kms from the city.

By bus: There is a direct bus departing from Heraklion and arriving at Malia. Services depart five times a day, and operate every day. The journey takes approximately 60 minutes.

By car: Renting a car gives you the flexibility to explore Crete at your own pace. The drive from Heraklion to Malia is straightforward, and the coastal route offers scenic views. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes.
